Once a report is received, our trained advisors will liaise with the report maker and compile a detailed concern report and email this directly to the appointed coordinator(s) within your organisation who will be provided with the appropriate details, enabling them to identify and deal with the various matters of concern that have been raised.
Where the staff member is willing to discuss things, our staff will offer the employee guidance and support whilst ensuring the accurate documentation of the disclosure. The report maker will be issued with a unique password allowing them to have a confidential line of communication with us at all times.
Once you have completed your investigation and, where appropriate, taken any action to resolve and alleviate the concern, we will provide the employee with an update on any outcome and details of what action has been taken.
Whistleblowers need to have faith that you will keep them anonymous in order for them to feel at ease when reporting concerns. Yet, many companies use "solutions" that are neither anonymous, secure, nor compliant with current whistleblowing legislation, resulting in significant financial, reputational, and legal risks.
Our whistleblowing support service is a cost-effective way for your organisation to demonstrate that you take raising concerns and whistleblowing seriously by offering your employees a confidential reporting service that allows them to raise any issues or concerns in complete confidence.
Your staff can be assured that their identity is protected at all times and your regulator can be assured that you are against 'closed-cultures'. Good practice dictates that an outstanding service provider will create an atmosphere where workers feel able to report concerns and will thoroughly investigate and address such concerns within the service.
Having an open culture and an independent hotline will help staff to be more confident about raising concerns. Workers are more likely to raise concerns at an early stage if the reporting procedures are transparent and easy to use.
In addition, CareWhistle will issue you with a certificate of cover which you can use to evidence and ultimately improve compliance with regulators and any contract compliance teams.
CareWhistle's modern, secure and anonymous whistleblowing service will protect your company, your staff and your service users.
